Oris Jerome Askew, arrested Wednesday for murder, has a lifetime history of rape and other serious crimes dating back to 2000. Oris was last known to frequent the Aqueduct housing projects and is a two time convicted sex offender.
According to a Facebook page belonging to a "Juiceman Askew", Oris Jerome Askew a 1998 graduate of Menchville High School has now added murder to his long list of felony charges. We found several images on that page (see photo gallery above) of the 6'3" 150lbs sex offender that appear to match up with the subjects mugshot.
The Virginia sex offender registry lists Oris's address as the city jail which is where he was re-arrested yesterday. Historical records indicate Mr Askew's previous address as being 13213 Aqueduct Drive Newport News Virginia 23602 Apartment #13 as recent as Febuary of 2025.
Aqueduct is a public housing community in Newport News plagued with crime and dozens of police & ems calls for service requests weekly for many years.
Oris also appears to enjoy cooking and has published a video on his Youtube channel
- In 1999, Oris was convicted of sexual battery and sentenced to 12 months of jail time. He was also required to register as a sex offender.
- In 2000, Oris was sentenced to 1 year in jail for sexual battey of a minor in the city of Hampton.
- 2003, Oris was sentenced to 12 years in prison for rape and given 5 years of probation when he was released which was shortly before 2014 when he violated his probation and sent back to jail.
- Mr Askew was already in custody for auto theft in March of 2025 and a sex offender registration violation in April of 2025.
- July 2025 Oris Askew is charged with murder
